Use | D-fructose -1, 6-diphosphate trisodium salt (FBP) is a common metabolic sugar, which is the glycolytic pathway The precursor of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate. It can be used as an allosteric activator of enzymes such as pyruvate kinase and NAD-dependent L-(+)-lactate dehydrogenase, as an inhibitor of acetate kinase, and as a substrate for the identification and characterization of enzymes (if sugar -1,6-bisphosphatase and fructose -1, 6-bisphosphatase). FBP was studied as a neuroprotective agent for brain injury. |
